Celebrity Cruises has a brand new cruiser-friendly app to enhance guests’ cruising experience. The app allows guests to make reservations, find entertainment, and even unlock the door to their stateroom without a key card.
On my all-to-short two days aboard Celebrity’s new ship, Celebrity Edge, I was able to experience a few of the ships 29 different dining options. Luminae, the suite class restaurant, provided excellent food paired with excellent service. However, there were a few other standouts.
Celebrity Edge has many entertainment options. I found myself not only engaged by the actors and shows onboard, but also the various art installations throughout the ship.
Celebrity Edge joined Celebrity’s fleet after a ceremony where the ship’s godmother, Nobel Peace Prize Laureate Malala Yousafzai, was on board to “bless this ship and all those who sail upon her.”
Before going on Celebrity Edge, I studied what I thought would be my favorite venues on the ship. After spending a few days aboard the ship, I discovered how five venues met – or surpassed – my expectations.
