Celebrity Summit’s revitalization is the next chapter of The Celebrity Revolution, Celebrity Cruises’ extensive modernization effort, with more than $500-million in upgrades across the fleet.
Celebrity Edge is the first of Celebrity’s Edge-class series. Launched in 2018, the 2,900-passenger ship provides a look into the future of cruising with its unique offerings.
Celebrity Millennium’s transformation — part of the Celebrity Revolution — is just the beginning of Celebrity Cruises’ biggest fleet-wide modernization ever, with more than $500 million in renovations set to take place.
Celebrity Cruises has a brand new cruiser-friendly app to enhance guests’ cruising experience. The app allows guests to make reservations, find entertainment, and even unlock the door to their stateroom without a key card.
On my all-to-short two days aboard Celebrity’s new ship, Celebrity Edge, I was able to experience a few of the ships 29 different dining options. Luminae, the suite class restaurant, provided excellent food paired with excellent service. However, there were a few other standouts.
Celebrity Edge has many entertainment options. I found myself not only engaged by the actors and shows onboard, but also the various art installations throughout the ship.
