Silversea Cruises released a revised collection of 157 new expedition voyages. The expedition offerings include itineraries in the Galapagos aboard new ship Silver Origin, the Deep Antarctica expedition and the first-ever fly-cruise to Antarctica, a 51-port Arctic grand voyage, and the first-ever expedition world cruise, among other experiences.
Silversea Cruises has taken delivery of its first-ever destination-specific ship, Silver Origin, from Dutch shipyard De Hoop. A ceremony held on Wednesday June 3, 2020, marked the first in-person cruise ship delivery since the pandemic prompted a global lockdown.
Perfect white-sand beaches, clear turquoise water and rare wildlife make the Galapagos Islands a bucket list destination for just about every traveler. Take one look at the advertised vacation package prices however and it quickly becomes out of financial reach for many folks. Luckily, putting together a budget trip that still offers snorkeling, wildlife viewing and all the perks of higher-priced trips is entirely possible.
