The Evolution Of Avid Cruiser & Our New Site Updates

Dear Readers,

As some of you may have noticed, we are going through some changes with our site. Not only have we had a site redesign, we also have assembled a new team of writers for the site, including myself.

Ralph Grizzle started the Avid Cruiser website in 1999, making this year the 20th anniversary, and though I don’t have a screen grab from that year, I do want to show you a few screenshots of the website over the years to show you how it has evolved.

As you can see, the site has gone through dramatic transformations over the past 15 years. What started as a website solely for travel agents, quickly became a valuable tool for those researching cruises, and cruise enthusiasts alike. We are excited for our newest site design – which looks pretty and is also easier for you to use, a win-win.

Not only have we changed our site design, we have also changed the design of our newsletters, and the day of the week that we send them out. These newsletters have been a staple on the site for quite a bit of time, and include the latest articles written by our team, as well as cruise news from your favorite cruise companies.

We have been working hard with multiple professionals across various fields including web design and public relations to make sure that we are putting our best foot forward for our readers, and presenting our content in interesting and easy-to-use ways.

Those of you who have been with us for a few years now know how important it is for us to be transparent, not only with unbiased cruise advice and reviews, but also with you about what is going on behind the scenes. We look at Avid Cruiser as a family, and your input is often equally important as our own.

Please take a few moments to fill out the survey below – remember, this helps us help you.
