Our friends over at Seatrade Insider report that Seabourn has just signed a letter of intent for a newbuild to be delivered in the second half of 2016. Italy’s Fincantieri will build the new vessel.
I’m not surprised. Are you? Seabourn has been highly successful with Seabourn Odyssey, Seabourn Sojourn and Seabourn Quest. And now that it is divesting itself of its three smaller vessels, which will go to Windstar Cruises, the timing is right for a fourth vessel that company officials say will be similar to the newer sisters.
