Seabourn Quest Visits Saint-Tropez

One of the things that I like about ships of the size that Seabourn operates is that they’re large enough to have all the activities you could ever want, yet they’re small enough to visit both marquee destinations and small ports of call that larger ships often can’t visit.

Today, for example, we’re anchored in Saint-Tropez. Many of the ship’s guests are off on excursions. Some are touring the former fishing village that Brigitte Bardot put on the international map and others are on their way to Port Grimaud, which is a little like Venice here in the south of France.

Seabourn offers a wide variety of excursions in each destination where its ships call.

During the week on Seabourn Quest, we’ll visit large and small ports, providing a good mix of destinations for first-time cruisers and also for those who have “Been there, done that.”

I’m looking forward to Sorrento, where a wide selection of tours are offered, though I’ll probably return to a favorite, Capri. And I can’t wait to see Mykonos again. It’s one of Greece’s most beautiful islands, with its stunning villages perched beside a beautiful sea.

In all, we’re visiting 10 destinations, something you just can’t do nearly as easily when traveling any other way except by ship. And as a guest on Seabourn, you’re traveling in a style that is hard for even the world’s finest hotels and resorts to match.

It really is the best of both worlds. Spend the day touring beautiful places like Saint-Tropez and then come back on board to enjoy an elegant evening before sailing away to a new and exciting port of call.
