I was extremely fortunate to spend this past September in the south of France. Along with Vancouver-based videographer Chris Stanley, I visited a mix of destinations, some that are already on cruise itineraries — and some that deserve to be.
Probably the best example of a shore excursion that should be on cruise line radar screens is Le Thoronet Abbey. You’ll see why in this video: The Avid Cruiser Takes On Le Thoronet Abbey
We also captured in video several shore excursions that were new to me, but already on a few cruise line itineraries:
- Venice In France? The Avid Cruiser Takes On Port Grimaud
- Beautiful Medieval Village: The Avid Cruiser Takes On Le Castellet
In the coming weeks, we’ll be rolling out more than a dozen additional videos featuring destinations in the south of France. I encourage you to view these videos as a source of inspiration to help you plan your cruises to Europe for 2013 and beyond.
As they say in France, Bon Voyage!
