Venice-inspired Port Grimaud, in the south of France.

Situated only seven kilometers from Saint-Tropez, Port Grimaud was an architectural experiment designed to imitate Venice with its canals. It’s a fun place to visit, touristy as you might expect, but it does have its own charm.

If you’re in the area, Port Grimaud is worth a visit. Be sure to climb the tower for some great views of the canals, colorful Provencal buildings, boats and megayachts and a glimpse of Venice with a French twist. Check out our video below.
