This summer, along with a small team of videographers, I started a new project for Royal Caribbean called “The Avid Cruiser Takes On [Insert Your Destination Here].”
We’re creating 10-minute travel shows featuring cruise destinations primarily in Europe, but also in North America. The concept driving the show is to “get people off the ships, and into the destinations,” something I fully support.
The shows will air on Royal Caribbean vessels, and possibly vessels of the company’s sister brands, Azamara Club Cruises and Celebrity Cruises, as well as here on Avid Cruiser.
In the coming months, we will be rolling out videos featuring the following destinations in Europe . . .
- Stockholm, Sweden
- Le Havre, France
- Var Provence, including Toulon, Sanary-sur-Mer, La Seyne-sur-Mer, and Saint-Tropez
- Venice, Italy
- Nice, Villefranche, Cannes, Antibes
- And more.

- Charlottetown, PEI
- Corner Brook, Newfoundland
