Cruising Down Under On Silver Shadow: A Day In Sydney

After three days crossing the gentle Tasman Sea, Silver Shadow docked in Sydney, Australia, under gorgeous skies this morning. Together with Chris Stanley, a videographer from Vancouver, Canada, who films the Avid Cruiser Travel Show, I headed for the city center and the Sydney Opera House.

Along the way, we saw a lot of interesting architecture . . .

We also discovered that Sydney is quite a “Green City.”

We made our way through city parks and along the water to the Sydney Opera House.

Bye, Bye Sydney. Silver Shadow Hotel Director Flavio Gioia, Ralph Grizzle, and Marius Sima, Food & Beverage Manager.

Tomorrow, we’ll spend a day at sea before arriving in Melbourne Tuesday morning, where Silver Shadow will overnight before continuing its journey Down Under.
