Fred. Olsen Announces 2012-2013 Brochure

Longtime cruisers will already know the importance of planning and booking a cruise vacation well in advance.  Besides offering the best selection of itineraries, staterooms and ships, booking early allows you to adequately plan and prepare for your cruise vacation.  Where should you go?  UK-based Fred. Olsen Cruise Lines have announced just the tool to help: their new 2012-2013 Worldwide Cruise brochure.

Fred. Olsen has just released their 2012-2013 Voyages brochure.

Featuring cruises that range in length from two to 112 nights, the complete 2012-2013 lineup includes a number of hallmarks that have made the line famous, such as an extensive selection of ex-UK departures from popular ports like Dover, Southampton, Portsmouth, Newcastle, Greenock (Glasgow) and Rosyth for Edinburgh.  Each of the itineraries comes with the line’s “No Fuel Surcharge Guarantee” that promises passengers won’t be hit with an increased fuel surcharge after their booking has been completed.

Some of the most fascinating itineraries include the option to visit Norway during the winter months aboard Boudicca’s In Search of Northern Lights itinerary, which departs February 2013.  A “Christmas Markets” voyage aboard Black Watch is also on offer, calling on Warnemünde (Germany), Tallinn (Estonia), St. Petersburg (Russia), Helsinki (Finland), Copenhagen (Denmark), and Kiel (Germany.)

In search of something hotter?  Why not take part in a 35-night Amazon River cruise aboard Boudicca, departing early in 2013.  Other voyages to popular sun-destinations like the Caribbean, the Canary Islands and the Mediterranean are also available.

The line is also expanding its offerings on Canada’s East Coast, with new port calls in Port Saguenay, Trois Rivières and Havre St. Pierre.

While refreshing their itinerary offerings, Fred. Olsen have continued to revitalize both their ships and onboard product.  In January 2011, Boudicca underwent a major refurbishment that saw new staterooms and venues added, including an upper-deck fitness area.  Their onboard enrichment programs also underwent an extensive overhaul, emerging with a new name: Vistas.

Nigel Lingard, Fred. Olsen Cruise Lines’ Marketing Director said: “It is hard to think of a better time to take a cruise with Fred. Olsen Cruise Lines; the latest programme really does have something for everyone, in terms of destinations, length of cruise, activities and entertainment on board – and with our ‘No Fuel Surcharge Guarantee’, our guests can book with absolute confidence.

“As the popularity of cruising continues unabated, especially ex-UK cruising, we are delighted to be able to offer this extensive selection of cruises from UK ports, and we very much look forward to welcoming guests, old and new, on board our four ships in 2012/13.”
