I’m on the veranda of a deluxe category stateroom on Crystal Symphony. As you can see, this category stateroom offers gives you an open window on the sea. What a gorgeous day.
The deluxe veranda stateroom is certainly comfortable, but if you want to take full advantage of staying at the world’s best resort, you’ll need to take it up a deck.
This is the Penthouse Suite, it’s hard to imagine more luxurious living at sea. Just take a look at this gorgeous room.
But if you really want the ultimate indulgence, take a look at the Crystal Penthouse. It’s like having your own apartment on the ocean.
I’m a practical guy, so I chose something middle of the road, the Penthouse.
When I arrived my European-trained butler, Greg, was unpacking my clothes. He told me about the free pressing and shoeshine throughout the cruise. These are just a few of the Penthouse Perks.
In my closet were two styles of robes: kimono and frette.
My butler asked what are my favorite afternoon canapes. Lobster tails sounded good to me.
He also asked about my favorite wines and spirits so that he could stock the complimentary bar.
He even offered to arrange tours, make restaurant reservations and spa appointments, even an en-suite massage.
Quickly I began to realize that this was going to be a cruise tailor-made to my tastes and preferences.
At this point, Crystal was earning its reputation as world’s best. Could there anything more?
(Door bell rings and butler enters with tray): Wow! Look at that. Where else can you get Nobu delivered to your doorstep?
