In the past, we’ve written about a few places to get great views of Stockholm, including one of our favorites, Fjallgatan.

Nothing, however, beats the view from Stockholm’s City Hall Tower. My daughter and I climbed the tower, opting for the stairs instead of the elevator to reach the top platform of the 106-meter tower, roughly equivalent to a building rising 31 stories.

It took us about 10 minutes to climb the 365 stairs. There is an elevator, but it only goes halfway should you choose to use it. Midway up is the Tower Museum, a good place to catch your breath and to prepare for the breath-taking views up top.
