Make way for MSC Cruises MSC Divina
Does life get better for an avid cruiser? A new ship and the glamorous Sophia Loren all in one. All eyes were on the MSC Cruises Facebook page to keep up with the naming ceremony. The cruise line also hosted a live feed from France so everyone could follow along (I love when that happens).

Besides celebrating the launch on new ships, another of my favorite activities is eating really good food.
Thanks to innovative culinary programs and a multitude of specialty restaurants on the ships, I can combine my love for the sea with my passion for good eats. So this week, I was excited to catch up with Chef Rudi Sodamin, Holland America Line’s master chef, who has been getting a lot of ink in the HAL blog. Thank you Chef Rudi for kicking off the European cruise season with Dutch Asparagus, and thank you HAL for reminding me about the celebrated experts appearing this summer at Holland America Line’s Culinary Arts Center.
