It was the first season on a river cruiser for Nicole Liepold, who works as a beverage stewardess on Peter Deilmann’s ms Mozart. Nicole studied hospitality at a university in Germany and applied her knowledge at various European hotels and resorts before coming to a ship. Nothing pleases her more than to find ways to please her guests, she says. Plus, working on a ship provides an opportunity for her to see and experience the world — or at least a slice of it. Nicole says her work is enriched by the fact that she meets so many people from different points around the globe and works with 13 nationalities on board.
