In The South Of France, Again (Not That We’re Complaining)

The “Salad Lady” loves the south of France, and I do too. This week, I’m back in Provence. @ 2011 Ralph Grizzle

This week, the Avid Cruiser is in Marseille, France attending Seatrade Med, a cruise industry event where destinations, ports, cruise lines — and virtually any company with an interest in cruising — get together to showcase their products and explore ways to continue innovating cruise vacations.

I’m there, in part, to help launch two new series of videos that we filmed in September and just finished producing. We’ll be running all of these videos on avidcruiser.com in the coming weeks, so if the South of France is on your bucket list, keep an eye on this space.

The first series features the French Riviera Cruise Club, with videos showing the best of Nice, Cannes, Villefranche, Antibes and Golfe Juan, as well as several popular shore excursions, such as Saint Paul de Vence, Eze, and Monte Carlo.

The second series features the Var Provence Cruise Club, with videos featuring 10 gorgeous destinations and several shore excursions. I can practically assure you that if you watch these videos, you’ll soon afterward find yourself Googling air tickets and cruise itineraries. Yes, these destinations are that compelling.
