Arguably The World’s Most Comprehensive Silver Cloud Cruise Review

Welcome Aboard The ‘New’ Silver Cloud. Silver Cloud underwent a major renovation in late 2012, evoking a contemporary classic atmosphere with a color scheme that is soothing and attractive. © 2012 Ralph Grizzle

Launched in 1994 as Silversea’s first ship, Silver Cloud, along with sister-ship Silver Wind, measures only 16,800 gross tons and carries just 296 guests — about half the size of Silver Spirit.

Kept up to date through regular extensive makeovers (the latest in November 2012), the ultra-luxury ship merits the highest superlatives, providing a world-ranging luxury experience for the discerning traveler.

I’ve just disembarked Silver Cloud, after cruising from the Canary Islands to Barbados. Read my full Silver Cloud review or check out some of the articles I posted during thevoyage, including a review of my suite, the Owner’s Suite, and my first-ever bathroom review.

If you’ve never sailed Silver Cloud, you’ll find her to be an intimate sized ultra-luxury vessel offering the best of the best. Following the November 2012 renovation, she evokes a contemporary classic atmosphere with a color scheme that is soothing and attractive. See Silver Cloud Gets A Makeover: What’s New?
